Question: What skills do you think acting needs!?

Im going into an acting class for my first time and just want to know the basics of it like what things I need to know or what things make you a great actress!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Imagination!. Listening and reacting!. Discover how to be vulnerable in front of people!. There are millions of them!. Just concentrate on truthful behavior, and doing your best, most honest work!. Imagination is the big one!. If you ever watch children play make believe, they are perfect actors!. Actors have to be child LIKE and not child ISH!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think the most important thing about acting is honesty!. Don't go up there and be like WAHHH I'm SAD!. No!. No one cares about you if you do that! think of when you are sad, how do you feel!? Get into that moment and make a connection with the audience!. THat's the second thing, getting the feeling is good, now show who ever you are acting with, or the teacher, or the audience!. And have fun! Don't be scared, go for it!. Letting go of your walls and insecurities is the most important thing in an acting class to me!.

I'm not a professional, I have been doing this a while tho, and I LOVE it!. I hope you will too :)
