Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: It won't be difficult to take online!. In fact it will be quite easy!. There won't be any acting of any kind!. It will all be technical information about the history of theatre, how theatre happens, technical theatre, and contemporary theatre!. I think it'll be boring online!. Chances are the teacher will make it interesting and you will enjoy the class and learn more if you take it in person!. If you're looking for an acting class or acting experience, this is not the right class for you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com It depends entirely on what type of theater art you are trying to specialize in!. If you want to be an actor, I'd say definitely do not do an online course, Frankly, I'm doubtful of the usefulness and credibility of any online course!. However, in these modern days, I suppose if it is an online course sponsored by your local Jr!. College or University and would count towards a degree at that school, it would be at least legit, but not for an actor!. If you want to learn about or do acting, then in person is the only way to go!. There are lots of "Theater Arts" , not all of which involve acting singing or dance!. there is also Set design, Lighting design, costume design, Props!. Technical Direction, Stage managing and so on!. If you want to do one of those things, or want to know what they even are, then perhaps the online course could at least (as the Course name suggests) introduce you to those things and you might have a better idea of how to go on!. It's a lot more reading and studying involved in online courses!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Acting is something you need to do with another person, since a large part of acting is observing others to help you build a character, and recognize how people act!.
