Question: Did anyone object to Polanski's R rated version of MacBeth!?
Personally loved the action, sorry to spoil it for those not seeing it, nerve twitches on the headless armour staggering down steps, the witches were ugly my idea, they shoulda been tempting for pure evil not ugly, I mean what would be the point!? That the curses they work with is, well wont go there, I am protected by Cain covernant, sorry folks!?
As a Christian, why would interest in Shakespeare be valid, dunno, just understand a lot of languages, yea lol even old english, but really dislike the over dramatised, I would like, weird I know for shakespeare, period costumes, but as most actors are realistic, and well grounded in reality, a kind of, mellow fair dinkum approach without the ocker accent but sincere, genuine and straightforward!. What would Billy Connolly do, Beggars belief, is he in any MacBeth films for the buffs, curious full marks still awarded if you dont answer latter part!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Im not absolutely sure if it is the right Macbeth that im thinking of but it sounds more or less the same!. Here in South Africa, Macbeth is our English Lit book in Matric, and to let us understand the book better, our teacher who just graduated from Rhodes University @ 23years old - Showed us a video version of macbeth (Like you said the witches was ugly and the moment they flashed the camera it was hilarious hehehe - and I think somewhat embarrassing being only one of two girls in the whole English first language class!.
Thanks for letting me think of the good old times!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
