Before you submit it anywhere, get it "workshopped" -- have some good actors -- not necessarily your friends -- give you a read-thru while you sit in the audience and take notes!. You'll discover that some things that you think are good sound a little "stilted" when spoken by someone other than yourself!. After that, re-write then try a performance with half performance values, meaning that actors can carry scripts, no costumes, vague lights, etc!. Then re-write again!. THEN if you can get someone to mount a full-blown production, it may help a play publishing company to want it for their house!. You may be close to submitting it but not quite!. Do the work and you'll see resultsWww@QuestionHome@Com

Talk to the people in charge of the drama department at your school and see if you can make it into a high school production! You can raise money for it by doing bake-sales and jumble sales and raffles etc, or get local businesses to sponsor it in return for some kind of endorsement like providing refreshments on the night!. also, if you get far enough as getting the school to put it on, contact the people in charge of your local theatre, and ask them to come down and see what they think!

you might want to submit it!. there are lots of websites and books suggesting places!. a book such as writer's market is good!. sometimes you have to pay a submission fee, but not always!. i would suggest submit it and maybe it'll be accepted and staged!. if it doesn't, and you are planning on becoming a writer, it might be good to see how you react to work being denied!. you could also try and stage it yourself, but my suggestion is submit it and see where it goes!. good luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
