Question: How can I start acting!? I'm 13!?
I want to start acting (like on TV and commercials, I don't really mind stage acting, but I prefer this) but I don't know where to start!? I'm 13 and Chinese, but I don't really live in Los Angeles or anything!.!.!. Any tips to get started!?
I have always been fascinated (ever since I watched my first movie at a movie theater which!.!.!. was when I was like 10 or so, I know, crazy right!?) by how characters in movie can act!. I'm also sort of shy, but I am working on it, and I would like to know if I could try!? Is there any online site to help me!? Thanks a LOT! =)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Practice your acting!.!.!.!.classes, plays, etc!.
Find a agent!. (They will know of auditions)!.
Create a Portfolio!. (Pictures and acting experiences)!.
Try commericials and as an extra in a movie!.
Find others in your local civic theatre!.!.!.!.
Search and search for info on the internet!.!.!.!.
Ask your local drama teacher at community college or highschool, or even your middle school!.

take drama classes and join drama clubs you need to have some experience!!! you can't just expect do be a great actor over night!.!.!. !.!.!.and don't worry about the shy thing i have heard that a lot of actors were shy when they were younger like lucy from i love lucy was shy when she was young and she was a great actor!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
I Know how u feel I always had an intrested in acting but wa always nervous or shy!. Try phoning a agent, and they will give you a list of opitions you can go in and audition for!.

when i was 13 i was in a commercial!. I only got in because of family!. Do you have any family in that kind of business!? Or someone you know works somewhere that has commercials , you could ask them to be in one!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
try getting into to a theater class at ur school!. thats a perfect start

join a youth theatre, bee in all the school plays, that is how actors start acting!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
