Well in theater actors dramatise alot and the most important is the emotional charge af it all!. In movies the most important thng is realism where real life events are simulated without the exageration of the theater!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, there is definitely a big difference!. On film, you have to stand much closer to the people you're acting with, and also, onstage you have to be very careful about messing up!. On camera they can just cut that out and do another take!. Another BIG difference is that onstage, the audience is LIVE!. On camera, there is no audience!.
To answer your second question: definitely not necessarily!. On film, you have to do exactly what the directors tell you, and onstage, you can kinda have more room to throw personal stuff in there!.
Oh! almost forgot: onstage = melodramatic! on film = pretty much normal!.
You have to overdo it onstage and on film you can just be normal!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There are many differences!. For instance in theater you use very large expressions so the audience can see!. In film your expressions should be alot less because of close ups it will look un realistic!. also, you don't have to projecet as much in film as you would on stage because of booms!. So you would probably be good once you toned everything down a bitWww@QuestionHome@Com

theatre you can also be more "interactive" with the audiance I guess you can say!. You get to work your improv better also if you mess up a line or something else small goes wrong!. There's also just a certain!.!. je nes ce quoi!.!. about theartre!.

and it's true that you may be just as good either way!. but many p refer theartre because they can be in an audiance and get instant gratification and see the result of their entertainment!. Some people it's the opposite!. No audiance, no stage fright!. It's like no one is there!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

there is a big difference one is live and the other isn't
theater acting is different to film or studio acting!.!.because film or studio acting normal uses green screen witch means you would have to imagine there are objects that aren't really there!. but if your good at acting and imagining then u should be good at any type of acting!.!.

hope i helped you!.
