Question: Should I re-submit for the role!?
I auditioned for a series regular role for a new kids show in May, and the casting director said she intended to give me a callback, she seemed very interested in me!.

Yesterday, I saw a breakdown for all the main roles including mine and a few details were changed; the show starts production later and my characters are older (but i still fit the age catergory)!.

I am afriad that the casting director might have forgotten about me when doing callbacks!.

This production accepts open submissions, should I resubmit!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

yeah, I think so!. Never believe what they tell you at auditions, Only believe what you have in your hand as a contract!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

yes go ahead! its definitely worth a shot! I bet you are right and she might have forgotten about you , but if you re-submit your entry she might remember you and you could get the part!. the other option is she told you that because she wanted to avoid telling you the truth!. it's a common case in casting directors and i'm not saying that's the case but just for future reference if you don't hear back the chances are you weren't exactly what they were looking for!. Which isn't bad at all! you just didn't fit the role!. you see a fat man could never play the skinny guy and a bald man can't play the dude with luscious hair!. all roles are different and if you look more closely at the character you auditioned for maybe you don't quite fit the description!. and if you don't get the part don't freak out there are plenty more opportunities out there!. the truth is business you gotta go through many disappointments to land a role!. it's sadly just part of life!.my advice: practice practice practice, be prepared for anything, take all the advice you can get, don't let anyone knock you down and hope for the best!. Good luck! Www@QuestionHome@Com
