Question: Actress Help!! Please!.!.!.!!?
Please read:

Okay, I'm 11 years old and I really want to become an actress!. I haven't told my parents yet!. They'd probably laugh at me!. I've never sung in front of any family before!. I really want to be an actress as in act!. I tried looking on Disney Channel's website, but the only shows available for casting are J!.O!.N!.A!.S , which I'm too young for!. And HSM4, which I'm also too young for!. I really love Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Anne Hudgens, etc!. People like that!.

I'm an honor student and would follow my lines very carefully and seriously!. =] (Not bragging)
I just don't understand how to tell my parents!.

So pretty much, my questions are:

1!. How do I explain it to my parents!?

2!. Where should I audition!? (I live in Pennsylvania)

3!. How should I act in front of first!? Friends!? Family!?

Thank you so much!
xoxoxoxo!.
Luv ya all SO much!

1!. Just sit down with your parents and say Mom, dad I would really like to become an actress and I am going to need your help with it, because it's my dream!. If they laugh, say I'm very serious about acting and I'm willing to work really hard for this!.

2!. You need an agent to audition!. You can try to start with a local agent first, to get experience and then send out to bigger agencies!.

3!. Try to get involved in school or community theater, so that you can get experience!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

1) You should throw the idea out to your parents during casual or daily small talks!. and then when your at teh dinner table if you eat as a fmailyyou should sit them down and tell them!. They're going to support you if you're really passionate!.

2) You should audition in Philidephia which is famous for Acting Conventions and Compeitions!. Look That Up!.

3) I really don't understand your third question but if your saying who should i act in front of first i would say your family and just recite a monolougeWww@QuestionHome@Com

Explain it to your parents and maybe act a monologue to them so they can see your serious about acting!. I'm 13 and finding it hard to find auditions so at 11 it must be extremely hard!. I think from 0-14 there is limited work!. The majoroty of the Disney stars are 13+ years old!. Most of the filmings in LA so if your parents can take you there good luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

hey your parents will support you no matter what and it is important to tell them the truth!. If you are very passionate about this they will try to help you out!. 2!. there is a site that has all the adresses of casting places where oyu can send in you resume and headshot it is actinginfo!.blogspot!.com!. if you are nervous about acting in front of your family try in front of your friends!. but you will have to face your fear eventully! good luck and i hoped this helped!

thanks for answering my question!Www@QuestionHome@Com

i am 15 and also want to be an actress really bad! i too want to work with disney! i want to be in camp rock 2!. they should be posting auditions for other roles on other shows soon!.!.!.!.!.you just have to wait it out!. you need patience for this bussiness!.its not easy but its increadibly rewarding!. to answer your questions!.!.!.!.!.
1) just tell the parent who you are closest to first!. then tell them that you are 100 percent commited and would give up everything to be able to act!. i would start crying at this point, especially if they dont believe you!. crying always works-trust me, it got me a 500 dollar phone!.
2)i would audition in NYC if you live in eastern or central PA!. if you are not within a few hours of NYC i would audition in Philly or some other huge city nearby!.
3) when you tell your parents start the acting!.if you have siblings, im sure you lied to get them in trouble over you so just do the whole crying teary eyed thing when you tell your parents and thats a good start!.

best of luck to you in this crazy mixed up, complicated business you are about to enter!.

btw- my parents nor my extended family support me!. if your parents dont back you up just show them that they are wrong by making it big!. also- you dont have to pay an agent until after you get your first paycheck-they only get 10 percent of the paycheck too, so!. good luckWww@QuestionHome@Com
