Question: Calling Agencies After Submissions!?
I submitted for a couple reputable talent agencies that are expanding their rosters about a week ago and haven't heard back from either!. There are some projects that are being cast right now, and I really want to get auditioning!

Is it inappropriate to call the agency and ask if they've had a chance to review my headshot and resume!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

DO NOT CALL THE AGENCY!!! this is a horrible thing to do and it makes the agency not want to have anything to do with you!. if they like you believe that they will contact you!. Usually it can take up to 2-4 weeks but just be patient!. also if you call the agency this shows that you cant follow directions!.!.!.!.!.!.good luckWww@QuestionHome@Com

don't know about the theater but it is standard practice to drop a line to see if a portfolio has been received for an artist!. I like to put in a stamped postcard to myself that they just throw in the mail to let me know it has been received!.
