Today casting directors start calling people for auditions on this certain show that I wanted to try out for!.With all the negativity on here about how people a lot have no chance,I'm seriously freaking out!.I feel so ridiculous for even trying,and spending hundreds of dollars on head shots and such!.I need reassurance!.The last thing I need is a rude answer!. Its so that they can filter out all of the people who really want to act and have what it takes and separate them from the people who think that they want to act!. They're trying to let only the strongest people get to where they want to be!. That's why they are so negative!. One thing that helps me in those dark days of not getting called for gigs is one teacher's advice: the audition is the job!. When you get the part, that's when the fun begins!. Hang in there!.
