Question: Help! I have an audition and need a song!!!!!?

I have an audition as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz!. I need a good audition song!. I want it to show off my voice and range, to show emotion, suit the character and be a bit obscure as it is a big audition and I want to stand out!. I am a high(ish) soprano and a strong belter!.

Choose a song sung by any young girl from a musical in the 1920's-30's!. This is when Wizard of Oz was written, so that means no Wicked or Hairspray!.!.!. SORRY!! :P
Maybe sing one of Garland's earlier songs, from a movie/musical!. Watch loads of old musical films to try and find a song, but don't sing over the rainbow, unless they tell you to audition with a song from the show!.!. (Most successful musicals were made into movies at the time of tWoO)
also, glinda is a fun part, even though she's not in as many scenes, but you'd get to wear the most beautiful costumes! she's also a soprano, and if you didn't mind being green/not singing in the show you could play tWWotW, which would be fun!Www@QuestionHome@Com
