Props List for "Jesus Christ Superstar"?

Question: Props List for "Jesus Christ Superstar"!?

My community theater is performing the musical "Jesus Christ Superstar"!. Does anyone who has worked on or been in the show before have the props list they used or know of any major props used in the show!? Im having a hard time narrowing stuff down!.
Please dont tell me that I should research this myself or that im cheating or whatever!.

JCS is not a proppy show!. Last time I was involved with it Mary Magdalene had a lamp (candle in an enclosed glass housing, you know what I mean!), there were palms for Hosanna, goblets and the odd bottle for the Last Supper scene, a rope for Judas' hanging, a bag of money for the priests to give Judas and I think that was about it - the whip for the 39 Lashes was mimed!. Oh, and some odd bits and pieces for the Temple scene but not too much!. The whole production was pretty minimalist, but really it doesn't call for much!. Hope that helps you!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Read through the script!. If something is mentioned, note it down!. Once you have a list, then pass it by the director who may, or may not want to use the props!. He/she may have others that they want to add!. More will come out of rehearsals!. You will need to attend at least some rehearsals to find out what is required!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Talk to the director to find out what they want to use!. If they don't know, they aren't doing their job and are just foisting it off on you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
