Can I be an actor if I have scars?

Question: Can I be an actor if I have scars!?

I am 16!. I think I am an okay actor!. I got best actor award in my period this year, but I have scars some on my elbow and some on my hand both of those are fairly unnoticeable!. The worst one is on my head it is a bald spot small but noticeable sometimes!. would that prevent me from getting a career as an actor!? What I really want to do is voice acting for animes and such!. That is not relevant!. !.!.!. the key point is to be an artist!. Just pursue it, perform, perform, perform, in any possible play to get seen by as many people possible!.!.!. You also have to identify a style that you want!. A person, group, or company that really make you think "I want to do that"!. Find a way to practice with their technique (and i said practice, besides study)!. practice is finally what will get you on stage in a solid way!. Make yourself clear if you want either a JOB or an artistic activity that will make you happy!. Being notorious is not necessary being talented, or, even worse, it will make you compromise many ethical things that you might not like to do or act in plays that you dont really like!. Well it definitely wouldn't matter in theatre!. You can't see stuff like that from way out in the audience!. And obviously, it wouldn't matter for voice acting!.

If you want to be a movie star or something, then I don't know!. It could affect some casting director's decisions, but probably not all!. It just depends on who you're auditioning for!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No! Scars will not stop you from making a living as an actor!. In fact, having such distinguishing marks can even help you get work!. This will be great for character work, but even leading men such as Harrison Ford have had very prominent scars, so this should not stop you!.

Keep at it and keep working on your craft and working on the business side of your career and you should be able to find work!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't see how that would set you back any!.!.if your really nervous, or self conscience about it, you can always get plastic surgery!. But I bet you have a good talent for acting/ character voice overs!. Follow your dreams young man!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

yes u can b an actor with scars !.
make up can cover scars and wigs for that head one !.
but
they could even help u throught ur carrer !.
mayb if ur beign a bad guy !?

Make-up can do anything these days, plus once you become an actor and you become rich and famous!.!.!.you'll have enough money to get rid of them and make it seem like they never did exist! lol ;)Www@QuestionHome@Com

ever heard of air-brushing!? make-up artists do use that method on celebrities!. it's where you spray make up rather than dab it on with your finger!. your chances are still up there, don't worryWww@QuestionHome@Com
