During high school, I was in Speech and Debate, and I performed various monologues from plays and books for the Dramatic Interpretation competition!. I've found that most plays don't have very long monologues!. I guess it depends on the length you're looking for!. Some of my favorite sources were:

"The Pigman" - Paul Zindel
This is basically a story about a guy and a girl who meet a weird man who affects their relationship and the relationships they have with others!. It's an emotionally charged, interesting read!. I specifically like it because each chapter rotates between the two main character's POVs!.

Another book with great monologues is "Dear Zoe!." It's about a girl who blames herself for the death of her sister!. One of the best books ever!.

My third recommendation would be "Wasted," by Marya Hornbacher!. It deals with the author's struggle with both anorexia and bulimia!. Its informative, sarcastic!.!.!.!.and full of quotable text!.

Other than those three books, you could try finding a book that contains monologues!. They have books like "Monologues for Women" or "Famous Monologues" [etc] in your library or book store!.

It depends whether or not your male or female!. Alot of shakespeares are good for both!. The taming of the shrew for instance, has a really good monologue by the main female character Kate, with a lot of different emotions in it , it uses the traditional language but you could also get adaptations!.
The same play has a really good monologue by the male lead, petruchio!. He uses the plays name sake in the speech so it makes it very significant!.
