The best version of Sweeney Todd I know of is the live version with Patti Lupone (who rules all!) in it!. Am I the only one who thinks Helena wasn't very good at all!? She has too much of a sickly sweet voice for the role in my opinion!. Who did you think do better!? Team Patti!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Patti LuPone was much better than Helena Bonham Carter, but Angela Lansbury rocked too!. I actually preferred her, because her voice was just!.!.!.kind of weird, to be honest!. A lot more of a strange, eery kind of voice than Patti had!. Patti's voice was really good, but Angela put a lot of acting into her singing!. So I say Patti is the answer to YOUR question, but Angela Lansbury was the best Lovett!. Patti LuPone had the best comedic timing EVER, a terrific voice, and the perfect character for Mrs!. Lovett!. Helena Bonham Carter wasn't terrible!.
