First off, learn how to spell!. Yes this is the internet but that doesn't mean you have to sound like an idiot!.

Second, don't expect to become famous if you make your way in the acting world!. Your best hope at this point is most likely to achieve a commercial or two!.

Become involved in local drama courses and community acting, like plays or drama festivals!. Build up your resume!.

Search around, probably on the internet, for local talent agencies near you!. For many you just need to send in a head shot and a resume, the process varies for each so make sure to check on the website for details!. Many also accept just pictures of you if you don't currently have a head shot!.

Remember, it's a one in a million shot to achieve fame!. Don't expect it and definitely do not think that by just getting an agent you will get placed in big-name movies and television shows!.

If acting is truly something you have done all your life and love to do then just be happy acting, don't torture yourself over becoming famous!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

1) Before you do anything you need to get TONS of experience/training!. Community theaters, school plays, voice classes, drama classes, dance classes!. The more experience/training the better!. You should also try to become a "Triple Threat"!. In today's society, you really have to be talented in all three in order to appear on TV/movies!.

2) Once you are skilled and have lots of experience you need to build your resume!. Refer to the website I gave you if you need help creating a resume!. You will also need a head shot, which is a natural picture of you that casting directors will see before anything!. Make sure these are professionally taken and updated whenever you change your look!. also, make sure you look like you in your picture!. If you normally have crazy curls don't straighten your hair for your picture (unless of course that's how you wear it everyday)!.

3) You will need an agent now that your resume and head shot are taken care of!. Nobody in Hollywood will look at you if you don't have an agent!. At the same time, don't depend on your agent to do everything for you!. They have millions of other people to take care of along with you!.

That's all basically but it is a long process that will take you much more time than it seems!. You should also know, it's best to live near New York City or Hollywood!.

I taught Theatre for 35 years and am a professional Director and Actor of many years!.
You MUST begin participating in plays, musicals, variety shows; anything that gets you up on stage and experiencing the craft!. You should also be enrolled in an acting or speech class at your school if one is available!. If not, get involved in a community theater near you!. Take their classes of they offer them!. Keep EVERYTHING in documentation; programs, newspaper articles, letters, etc!. about what you're doing!. These will come in handy as you approach college!. You CANNOT learn Theatre in the classroom beyond a certain point SO!.!.!.!.!. get out and get involved and DON'T be disheartened or lose your enthusiasm if you and your talents aren't accepted or are criticized!. Have faith in yourself as a "learing" actor in training!. Accept criticism from teachers and professionals; all others - just say "thank you" and smile!. Most people have no idea what they're talking about!.
Do NOT get taken by the many con artist agencies that prey on young talents!. No legitimate "real" agent will every charge you a fee for representing you, putting together photos and a resume and so on!. Anyway, you DON'T want to go "professional" until you are ready! also, one doesn't become an actor to be "famous"!. You have to love the work and the discipline!. Sure, some make it quickly - but they fade quickly and aren't highly regarded by "real" actors!. If you take time to study and learn the craft, to participate in all phases of Theatre!.!.!.!.you'll be well equipped for a lifelong career!. If you want to go the "sudden fame" high school musical route, you many be successful but!.!.!.!. you have little chance of surviving long term in the business!. Girl for one acting is a serious business you cannot be playing around in it cause you heard it pays good money!. I am also 13 I am currently getting an agent in a week after I sign the contract!. I am also taking drama classes most of the kids in my drama kids don't know what they are doing!. So really Minni if you want to do acting please actually get to know it more learn more it is better that way!. You can't look at television say I can do that and it happens!. It doesn't work that way you have to be dedicated on time and be very patient and also deal with rejection it intends to happen a lot!. So take this message into consideration!Www@QuestionHome@Com
