There is no really great actor or actress who hasn't had acting classes!. It's not just about talent, it's about skill, discipline, how to read a script, how to create a character, how to behave in rehearsal or on the set, and a whole host of areas of personal training from how to use your body to best advantage for the particular character to how to make your voice do what you need it to do!.

The reason it looks simple when you watch the actors you see on television is that they have had years of training in order to learn how to make it look that way!. Believe me, the last thing you want is to get an acting job and look like an amateur because you don't know what you're doing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No matter how good of an actress you are, classes don't hurt and they look great on your acting resume!. However if you are confident enough, make sure your resume, headshots and monologues are all done and go ahead and audition!. Although not having formal acting training may hurt your chances!. Disney channel isn't going anywhere so take your time and take some classes (TVI, Screen Actor's Studio, and Young Actors Studio all are great ones in los angeles) and you can audition again in a year once you've honed your skills a little more! Good luck with your disney audition!Www@QuestionHome@Com

You don't have to take acting classes, but it couldn't hurt!. Every great actor and actress started out somewhere and a large majority of them took acting classes, because it could teach you tips and tricks that you might not know!.

Plus it looks damn good on a resume!. But you should audition and see if you get the part, and if you don't, take some classes and try, try again!. You'll get something eventually if you try hard enough!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The majority of working actors in Hollywood have had training!. If you want to be an actor, you need training!.
now, if the opportunity to audition for say, Disney, comes up( which it probably won't!. I don't think they do open calls) then sure, go for it!.
But if you really want to do this as a career, you need training and experience!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You may think you're a great actor/actress, (and I'm not saying you're wrong), but if acting is your thing, you should ALWAYS take acting classes!. Even professional actors who have been working for years, (e!.g!. Robert DeNiro--yes, he still takes acting classes), still take acting classes!. Yes, definitely audition!.!.!.but you can NEVER get too much training!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

haha people like you are hilarious that they think they are talented even though they have never acted and its even funnier when they htink because they are "great" that they dont need classes

o lord!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.thanks for the laugh but i dont feel like explaining ALL OF THIS stuff with you when you are clearly not worth it i will only give detailed advice to people who are passionate about acting

best of luck!! happy dreaming!!

well go ahead and audition, but how are you going to prove to them that you're a great actor if you flopped the audition!? Taking acting classes will give you a credit in acting, and it tells the audition directors that you are serious about acting, that's why you take classes!. But good luckWww@QuestionHome@Com

Yea, you should go to acting classes if that is what you are interested in!. Does a boxer stop training because he thinks he's good or does a singer stop take vocal training!. Consider acting classes as training - you will learns the ins and outs, and sharpen your skills!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

You need it more for the credits than anything if your that good!. Classes can actually help you alot!. It never hurts to improve either, you never know what you could learn!. Try going into advanced classes that way you can build skills with others and it provides good practice!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

no, but eventually they'll want you too!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
