Question: Does this sound legitimate!?
Okay so this is NOT about the Jonas Brothers, but they are part of the story!.

Soo!.!.!.June 16 me and my friend went to a Jonas Brothers concert!. There was a contest that you could enter to win an autographed guitar signed by the Jonas Brothers, I didn't know what I was entering at the time, my friend just gave me something to fill out!. So we filled it out and gave it to the guy, then moved on in life!. Well today me and my friend recieved a call, and it's from a talent agency!. Apparently a talent scout saw me and my friend and liked our look, so they called us in for an audition(acting, singing, or modeling)!. They said they got our information from the papers we gave to the person to enter the contest in (hope that's not too confusing)!. Anyways!.!.the girl on the phone seemed rather!.!.well ditsy!. I kind of think they just want us so we THINK we have a shot, but really we have none, and we will probably end up having to give them money at some point!. It's actually a school, called John Robert Powers!.!.they have a site!.!.

http://www!.johnrobertpowers!.net/

so yeah!.!.do you think I should give it a shot!? or just!.!.forget about it!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

John Roberts Powers is a scam!.!.

If anybody asks for money upfront, don't trust it!. They make it seem legit but they're almost trying to sell you something!. And it's not an agency, just a school!. One guy at my school supposedly went to the school to learn about modeling, having the outcome of some cheap photoshoots and a loss of $2000!.

They claim to have a lot of affiliations with Disney so they advertise themselves but you can't work with Disney unless you have an agent, and again!.!. they aren't an agency!.

Just forget about it, if it sounds too good to be true, then it is!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

if you want to check it out it is neat but john robert powers is a scam!.

if a modeling agency wanted you they would take the risk and pay for all your head shots!.!.!.!. so if they offer to pay go for it but if not move on!.

sorry :( Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's pretty much a scam!.

Its about $3,000-$5,000 for the classes (they bring in casting directors and agents, though)!. If you want to be an actor or a model, go do a bunch of $200 classes instead!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

why is it a scam!? they dont tell you theyre going to get you jobs!. they are just a school for experience!. it is quite pricey though!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think you should check with the better business bureaus or something!. Get more info on it before forking over any cashWww@QuestionHome@Com
