!.!.!.I am trying to find an agent now, would mentioning that I know one of the runners up to american idol be helpful to say!? And how should I say it!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I wouldn't mention that you know someone from American Idol!. The agent wants to know about YOU, not people you know!. You might come off as a name dropper that will be a huge turnoff!.

If the American-Idol-person KNOWS someone that might be interested in you (an agent, director, manager, etc), though, and can help you with the process of finding an agent, by all means go ahead and use their help and their connections!.

But don't just go into an interview and be like, yes I have done this this, that and this AND I know so-and-so from American Idol!. No one cares!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.That would mack you look like a groupie not an actor!. I act to in Hollywood CA!. The American Idol film set was in my neighborhood for around a month last year at the Hollywood & Highland center!. If people only knew that the laughing and cheering people in the reaction shoot were filmed on a day that the entertainers weren't even on set, they would never watch the show again!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.If you have a lot of afrtra vouchers you should join Aftra and or SAG if your marketable agents will find you!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.My last two shoots were, "The Cleaner" and "Californication"!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Good luckWww@QuestionHome@Com

Just to let you know its not easy this girl took about 2-3 years to find an agent!.!.!.!.!.!.!. 1 thing i KNOW in my heart to do is try to do Alot of plays do church choir get a voice teacher and all that stuff this is only the beginning and dont worry 2-3 years will pass then you will be a STAR!!!!!!!!!!
