Question: Acting auditions close to wear i live
ok!. im 13 and i want to start acting!. i live in portland, OR!. are there any movie auditions here or tv show auditions!. my dream is to be on disney channel!. are there any auditions for disneychannel here in portland!. i dont want any scam stuff!. please!. i really want this!. i dream about this every night and i would kill to do anything to be on disney channel!. so here are my questions!.

Be very careful when talking to your dad about it!. They may be pleased, but they may also not be as supportive RIGHT NOW!. When I told my mom a year or two ago, she wasn't convinced!. I was constantly changing my mind on what I wanted to be and so on!. She told me that I had to prove it!.
So I started auditioning for plays and started trying to mimic voices that I heard on the TV and such!. I committed myself one hundred percent to the plays that I was in and still kept my grades up!. I was the youngest person in the play and I was always home way later than I wanted to be, but I didn't complain about sleep loss or having to do homework at the theater because I knew that if this is what I want to do, I have to be willing to adapt!.
Now she knows this is really what I want to do and is going to take me to have head shots done and such and help me get my resume finished to send out to people!. It's really important that your parents realize how important it is to you because you need them to help push you to the top!. Make sure you aren't just dragging you parents along for the ride!.
