Question: I have been acting for years - time to find an agent!. HOWEVER!.!.!.
However, there are none within a 5 hr!. radius of my home city - and moving isn't an option!. So, do you have to live near the agency!? Can you give me information on stuff in this category!? I already know how to find out which agents are legit, which ones are franchised by SAG and such!.!.!. I just want to know how to get a long-distance agent, and how often I'd have to go down to the actual agency, etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, you don't have to live near the agency as long as you can be available when they call you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No you don't need to live near it!. My friend who lives in Illinois has an agent in NY!.

you can go to http://sag!.com/node/667 and find agencies!. It tells you if they are SAG-franchised or not!.

You can mail your headshot and resume to the agencies and if they are interested they can give you a call and you can work something out with them!.
