Question: How to get into acting or singing!?

i am fifteen and love acting and singing and i really want to do this as a career but i dont go to stage school or have an agent, how can i find one and how do i become an actress!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Join a local theater company!. I did so last year!. All I did was audition for one of their shows and I got in!. You need to build experience!. Do a lot of shows and take as many opportunities as you can like being in school plays and such or joining your speech team!. I know that speech doesn't sound like drama but it is!. It gives you a chance to perform continually and be rewarded for your ability!. That way you can list the shows you've been in and your performance awards on your resume!.

Go to theater camp during the summer or winter break!. Take singing lessons if you want to pursue singing!.

To get an agent you have to audition for them!. Then they decide if they want to represent you or not!. To get an audition you have to have professional head shots done and send them a copy of your resume!.

First find some play or group or company that really move you, that make you think "I want to do that"!. Try to practive with them!. Study!. Acting does not happen overnight!. Making it big is not the key point!.!.!. the key point is to be an artist!. Just pursue it, perform, perform in any possible play to get seen by as many people possible!.!.!. practice is finally what will get you on stage in a solid way!. Make yourself clear if you want either a JOB or an artistic activity that will make you happy!. Being notorious is not necessary being talented, or, even worse, it will make you compromise many ethical things that you might not like to do or act in plays that you dont really like!. The commercial circuit not always cross roads with the pure artistic lane, so you have to be focused in what you deeply wish!. Welcome! Best of luck
