Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Don't shoot for Disney!. Why won't your mom let you!? Too much money for acting classes!? Too much time!? You're already too busy!? Try to take acting classes!. If your mom won't let you, then save it for later!. Do lots of community theater! Get as much experience as you can!. Start doing plays more than anything else to show your mom you're serious and you want it and you're willing to work for it!. If she comes around, take local acting classes!. Get professional headshots, build your resume, and then send your headshot and resume out to agencies!. If they're interested, they'll contact you to meet with them, and perhaps you'll get signed! Then you can get auditions for things - like disney channel - otherwise, you won't be on disney!. In my opinion, I think actors should shoot higher than disney!. There are like billions of girls out there that want the same thing you do!. And that means there is alot of competition out there and you're mom probably doesn't want you to get let down if you don't get a part or make an audition!. or whatever the failure is!. you have to respect you're mother's opinion!. but have you even really talked to her about it!. you might have just been like!. I LOVE ACTING SO MUCH!!! but my mom's the business type of lady!. I'm not sure if i even know how to convince my own mom but i guess we could just try and get them to understand it's OUR dream! be patient though cuz if u rush her or do something behind her back she's bound to get P!.O!. lol but i wish you the best of luck!.
