Question: On screen acting!!!?!?!!!?!?
With on screen acting for disney channel will I be able to travel to new york while still living in north carolina!? I was planning to go to new york for auditioning for some disney channel show there or movie!!! So lets just say I got the part!. Would I have to move there or could I just stay for the shooting of the film/episode!? After I got the audition would they pay for the airfare and the hotel!? I know I would have to pay for all of that when auditioning!!

Disney productions are filmed in Los Angeles unless they are shooting on location with specific scenery like Camp Rock and Canada!. And if you get an agent in North Carolina they can send your audition tape to casting directors in Los Angeles and the final audition or maybe just the filming would involve going to Los Angeles!. And you only have to be in Los Angeles while you're filming the tv show/film!. And for jobs (and possibly final auditions), a place to stay and airfair should be provided!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
You could probably stay in NC and they SHOULD pay for your flight!. Either that or they may not want to hire someone that will cost more money (this industry is tough)!. Most likely though, if you get the part, you will appear in more than just one project, which would probably end up with you moving!. You would get a tutor and this would be your lifestyle!. In contrast to what the person above me said, not everything is filmed in Burbank!. Camp Rock (2) was/will be filmed in Canada!. Everything depends on the setting of the project!.

it depends!. you can still live in north carolina, but you'll have to stay for as long as you have to in wherever you'd be shooting the movie at, which may be a veryy long time, but that's the fun part!. most film companies do pay for your traveling, but some low-budget films don't!. but of course disney channel would, most definaly!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
