Question: Audition Monologue question
I am going to an audition soon!. and i was going to prepare the prologue from peter pan(which i am in now) fory monologue!.
(the prologue is read by the story teller) i just wanted to know if that would count as a monologue!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it does but think about what they're asking you to do and what you're auditioning for!. are you auditioning for another story teller because that's what you would be auditioning with!. a story teller is a third person to an event usually and doesn't lend itself to much character development!. an audition piece should show you off to a director!. you want to show them you can take on another character and their emotions and their story!. i'm just not sure if the storyteller monologue will be beneficial!. but yes it does count!.!.!.!.as long as it has a begining, middle, and an end!. No because the story teller is not an active character!. The story teller is hidden!. Get a monologue for Peter Pan himself that will do it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
