Question: I STILL need a good monologue for a Laramie Project Audition!

Please help!
I really want to get into this show!. The director is casting 15 people instead of eight, so I'm hoping I have a better chance!. I've also done two other shows, A Midsummer Night's Dream and Metamorphoses, with this director!. I just need a monologue that will impress! Any suggestions!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

DON'T use anything from Metamorphosis or Midsummer!. For one thing, this director has seen them before and will ask himself "can she do other stuff!?" and the material is not appropriate!. Find something in contemporary drama like Angels in America or ArtWww@QuestionHome@Com

From where i come, usually actresses when they are asked to improvize the say the monologue of Julie in the scene on the balcony!. However I also like the monologue of the Bride in Blood Wedding!. Good luck and break a leg!Www@QuestionHome@Com
