Nice of you to do so!.

It certainly should be something personal, so that this friend, not only recalls that YOU gave the gift, but it should be something they consider an ICON, as it relates to this milestone in HER experiences!.
It need NOT BE strictly theatrically related, but certainly age appropriate!.
You might even use a small, plastic trophy as a deco for the package!.
It's a school play, and she is 9!. The gift need not be heavily suggestive, but essentially should be a Keepsake that she will hopefully cherish, even if it ends up in a box of memorabilia, long after she has either gone on to become an "A" list club member, or a Grandmother, going through boxes of STUFF she kept from childhood!.
Certainly too, you can include a card, that reminds her of your support and friendship!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Anything with comedy/ tragedy masks on it!. It has become a national symbol for acting!. It looks like this (http://www!.fredericktowneplayers!.org/com!.!.!. I suggest that you draw it on the front of a card and write a message inside to wish her luck!. But make sure you tell her to "Break A Leg"!. It's bad luck to say good luck! Weird, I know!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
