Question: Facial hair in headshots!? Yes or no!?
I'm interested in going in for headshots, but I'm curious as to whether a headshot is better with facial hair (I have a mustache and a hairy chin)!. Do agencies want to see what I can give them in face potential or are they looking for clean faced looks!. I'm looking for a headshot with nothing that could hurt my chances!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

if that is a distinct look you have, you should use it! what many men do is bring a razor to their headshot session!. they do half the shoot with facial hair, then shave there and finish the shoot!. professional photographers are used to this, it may cost an extra small fee, but check their websites and let them know beforehand!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm not sure about film/tv agencies, but in theatre, I've always been told to go as simple as possible!.

A little facial hair is okay, as long as they can see your face shape, etc!. You can always grow it out again for a job, but casting agents might see more potential in a "blank" slate!.
But ask around, or if you're able to give a couple, have one with and one without!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It depends, some people might want to sign a person with facial hair, but it really all depends on the agent!. If it were me, I would go with the clean shaven look!. There alot of actors out there who only grow facial hair for the part they got!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Go for the whole clean faced look it make you look fresh!. Unless you can get with whole sexy rough look!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
