Question: How do you get an agent(:!?

but really, i live in ohio and there are agencies, but what do you do!? do you just call!? what steps do you take!?
and does it cost money!?

1!. Take acting classes!.
2!. Do plays/musicals locally - research how to be an extra in a movie and try to do that too!.
3!. Get headshots!.
4!. Build a resume!.
5!. Once you have enough experience and training, send your PROFESSIONAL headshot and your resume to agencies nearby!.

How to find legit and reputable talent agencies --
1!. go to sag!.com/branches
2!. click the city nearest you!.
3!. click local resources!.
4!. download the pdf!.

this will give you a list of talent agencies affiliated with SAG (which are the best agencies - the ones you want) and their addresses which you can send your headshots and resumes to :D

No agents shouldn't cost a penny, and if they do it's a scam!.!. google talent agencies in your area!. read about them and see if they seem legit, if they work with a union such as SAG thats a great thing, you send them what they want you to!.!. which is usually a head shot and resume!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

you need expierence first off!.
secondly they dont collect money only 10% of what you earn that they book for you!.
