Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: If you want to do it, you need to just do it and learn ways to get rid of your shyness!. Trust me, theatre is a way most people get rid of shyness or at least when they're on stage!. Don't you want to be able to say "Hey I did it, and I did my best" Hopefully you don't want to look back and say "I shou;d have done it, what would it have been like!.!." There's no point in that, you'll never know unless you audition!. When the spotlight ****, you normally won't hardly see the audience, just imagine there's no one else around except you and your fellow actors, trust me you become close with them!. You become like family, it's great!. Just focus on what you're doing and show them what you've got, if you don't make it or the lead, don't worry, trust me there will be other chances and opportunities! I hope this helped! Good luck! Even some of the most acclaimed actors and actresses will tell you that they are shy!. But don't let that stop you!. Plus, if you do go, you'll be a star even if it's only at school!.
