Question: How can i get into acting right now!?
I am 19 years old, live in SC, and I really enjoy acting! I used to put on a lot of plays at church and school when I was younger but really didn't have the opportunity to get out and go for it because my mom didn't believe I should go for something like acting (she's a very serious person and takes EVERYTHING serious)!. I would love to know how I could really get noticed because it is a dream I have had my whole life and it is something I enjoy with a STRONG PASSION!. I know people say to join a theatre but do agents and such really come to see people here in SC!? lol By the way, I am also in college right now so it is pretty time consuming and I want to make sure that if I go into acting, it will be worth while!. I don't want to mess up with school to try for something I will NEVER get! (if you know what I mean) Anyway, if anyone has a good solution please let me know! :) thanks!

I say go for it!. Since your in college it's kind of complicated!. But if you know you have it!. You're cool, and if your striving to get it, go head to place where they have agents (Virginia)
I'm sure they have an acting studio in SC!.
And you can't get notice by just sitting there!.
besides there's agents everywhere!. Find a theater in SC!.
But mostly you are responsible for finding an agent!. Find a play in the community and try out for it!. if you get in continue with getting into more plays!. once you have your resume pretty Full!.

Find a theater, do not expect an agent to come to your show (if you're in one)!. If you want this, go after it! Do some shows, get experience!. Make a resume and send it into a talent agency!. If they like your resume (you're picture counts the MOST) they will call you in!. haha, its what I did and all i have to do now is get headshots taken than I get signed with the agency ( : and im only 15!Www@QuestionHome@Com
