The Broadway office!. LOL!.

It depends on what show it is and who owns the rights!.

If you want to do something going off broadway this year like RENT you would have to actually go to the Larson Foundation for the Performing Arts and basically talk to the playwright`s family about what you want to do!.

If it is something that has been off longer you can go through the Dramatist Guild and find who has the rights to the show!.

Broadway does not have an office the way a movie studio has an office!. Many different people own the rights to different shows!.

You would have to research the specific show!.

If it was a recent departure it will cost a LOT to get the rights!. If it was longer ago it may cost almost nothing to produce it locally!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There are many different licensing agencies that handle Broadway Plays and musicals!. You have to apply to these companies inorder to secure the rights!. The companies base the cost of the rights on a variety of things: if your group is professional or amateur, how large the theatre is, how new the show is, how many performances, where your theatre group is located!.!.!.!.Rights can range from and average of $50 a perfomance for a play and up!.!.!.(musicals are the most expensive)Www@QuestionHome@Com
