DON'T sing Popular - it's bad form to sing a song from a show currently on Broadway (plus you're too young for that song) and it's horrendously overdone anyway - they'll pretty much cross you off the list immediately!. I don't know that there are any songs from "Into the Woods" which will suit your purpose - you really want a song which is the right age for Jane Banks and there are no characters in "Into the Woods" which fit that type!. Plus, singing Sondheim at an audition which isn't for a Sondheim show isn't a great idea - his style is far too distinct!. If it was me, I'd be looking at another Sherman Brothers song (the composers of Poppins) - perhaps Truly Scrumptious from "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang", My Own Home from "The Jungle Book" or There Must Be Something More from "Charlotte's Web"!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
