Question: Jersey Boys musical!?

When might Jersey Boys the musical become a film!? I know there are no plans yet, but when might it be a film!?

They (Gaudio, Elice, Brickman & the Jersey Boys creative group) were thinking about something hitting the drawing board by 2009!. It probably will be different than the actual stage show and may become a biopic rather than a "jukebox musical" movie like Mamma Mia and others that went from stage to screen, because it tells the true story of Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons and their lives!.

There also has been speculation that cast members for the movie will be picked from the various Jersey Boys casts (Broadway, Las Vegas, National Tour and Chicago) currently performing across the US as well as "retired cast members" no longer with the production!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not for awhile!.!.!. It's making money on Broadway and just started a tour!. They will lose money when they bring it out on film because people will figure they can just see the film for $20 versus buying a ticket which is around $100 per person!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
