Want to take acting classes??

Question: Want to take acting classes!?!?

okay so i really want to be an actress and when i look at all these people like selena gomez, demi lovato, miley cyrus ect!. they all started around 13 years old or sooner
im around that age and i really want to start getting trained so i can get noticed
does anyone know where i can find good acting classes in my area!?
or does anyone have any other suggestions!?!?

Skip the classes!.!.!.they're money eating scams!. The real way to learn how to act is through experience!. Start small!.!.!.!.local civic theaters or school plays!. Each show you'll get better and better!.!.!.the advice you'll learn from your directors and castmates will be insanely better than anything you'll learn at a "class"!. If you've got natural talent, it'll be that much easier!. Get some headshots, get an agent, and start professionally auditioning!. You might get lucky, or you might end up in a one bedroom apartment at the age of 18 with 4 other struggling actors!. I went on an audition for John Casablancas a few weeks ago for their classes!. I got a callback and I went to meet with them with my parents!. They explained to us that they help you out with your acting/modeling, the classes they give you is to prepare for auditions etc!. She also said that they can help you find a good talent agency!. They have representatives that come and see you when YOU think you're ready for an agent!. They don't force you to audition for one asap!. But I don't attend their acting classes because they were asking for $2,495 for all 12 sessions!. Good luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Don't do John Robert Powers or John Casablancas or even Barbizon! I've had friends that have gone through those "schools" and even though SOME of them did recieve a job or two out of it, MOST of my friends regret spending thousands over classes you could have easily taken somewhere else for less than half the price!.

It's simple, join your community theatre and, if your interested in film/tv work!.!.!. do a local search on the internet about local classes (type in something along the lines of "film classes in [your area]")!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

first of all you have to act for the right reasons not just for the fame and money!. if you do that you will fail in the industry!. i am an actress myself and have alot of experience!. you have to love doing it and the art of it!. a good acting school is in Century city CA it's called Gary spatz a young actors conservatory!. i went there it was good!. dont go to john robert powers they rip u off big time!.

well i did John Casablanca, and it was an amazing experience but recently i went to an audition for John Robert Powers and it seems like they have a lot more to offer!.!.!. even though it's a little more expensive!.!. it seems like they give you everything john Casablanca did and more!.!. try JRP!.
