Mono means ONE and Logue means TO TALK!.!.!. so Monologue means for just ONE PERSON TO TALK!.!.!. such as a stand up comedian would do!. DIA-LOGUE is for 2 people or more to talk!.!.!. such as in a conversation!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Its kind of a speech type thing, given by a character in a play or show, that expresses themselves without affecting the rest of the play, as the other characters do not "hear" the persons thoughts!.
