You've got a couple of approaches!. Firstly, the investigative!. Concentrate on the facts of the case!. There's a dead celebrity (the king) with knife wounds in him!. His two attendants, who were supposed to be guarding him, were found passed out, reeking of alcohol and with bloodied daggers about their persons!. You've also got the other facts around the murder -he'd just won a major battle and brought through some political changes (giving new titles to MacBeth) so he had no shortage of potential enemies!. also he and everyone else had just held a wild victory party in which lots of people got drunk!.

Second, you could go for straight sensationalism!. The death of Duncan would be like the death of Diana!. There's the facts of the case!.!.!. and then there's the media frenzy!. There's a number of angles you could take there - the conspiracy angle (probably an English plot!.!.!.) or the evils of alcohol or even the dangers in allowing servants to bear arms, like a medieval take on the gun debate!. ok if i was a newspaper reporter and had to write an article on the death of kind duncan, and i didn't know that macbeth killed him or the true reason behind it, i would kind of write a crime scene based investigation on his death!.

you can successfully complete an essay, to even a novel on this, but have to include all the information, clues, to suspicious people to his death!.
