Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: No big earrings that distract the attention from you!. Your head shot is all about you and not what you have on!. Your question leads me to believe that you are taking the head shot thing into your own hands and having them done by a non-professional!. Be careful!. You want to make sure you get really good shots and there are a few things to know to make sure you get them!. Have a look a this page on my site for new and aspiring actors!. On it you will find a lot of good advice from my head shot photographer Peter Hurley, one of the best in New York!. I interviewed him and he talks about how to make sure you get really good shots, how to find a good photographer, questions to ask them, the look and everything!. http://www!.actingcareerstartup!.com/heads!.!.!. also, once you have the head shots, make sure you know what to do with them!. Many young kids and new actors in general send their head shots to one agent at a time and then sit back and wait!. Then, when they don't hear anything, some months later they find out about another agent and then send another head shot and a résumé to them and wait again!. That is not a winning strategy and it is not the best way to start an acting career!. On the site I sent you to, have a look at the teen section!.
