Question: What's a good way to find acting auditions in Atlanta, Ga!?
I'm an aspiring actress in the city of ATL!. Our city isn't known for it's actors, but rather it's big time R&B and Rap musicians!. Therefore, I know nothing about any studios (and hardly any local theatres in this big place)!.
I'm 15, going on 16 this November and this would really help me as far as college and my career goes!.
To my initial question: I was wondering which website, magazine, newsletter I could find auditions for movies and theatre in!? (as long as they don't try to make me pay first, or don't bug you to audition right away) I want something that's legit!.

I live in georgia too!. and i am an aspiring actor also!. lol!. your like one year older than me because im 14 going on 15 this november also!.
For theatre auditions i go to "atlantaperforms!.biz"!. there are alot of theatres all across the state of GA and they keep that website updated!. And you can always do extra work for for student films out here also!. i dont know the sight at the top of my head but just google- atlanta film extra casting!. Craigslist!.org is good 2 but there are alot of scammers lurking around there too but be CAREFUL!.
The Alliance theatre out here offers all type of classes and there cheap too, and try to get drama in your school!. I heard North Atlanta High School is a kind of an arts school so you might be interested in attending that school!.
If you want to get in bigger roles tho, i suggest you get an agent!. im going to submit to Atlanta Models & Talent right after i get my headshots done again!. For college, I would look at the Art Institute since it is in Atlanta!. But there are alot of good performing arts colleges in Cali and New York if you really want to do acting!. Im thinking about attendding the Julliard school when i get to college!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
