Question: Should I get an agent!?
I have done MANY community theatre productions, although I am a kid!. People in my school call me "the actress" and professionals say my singing voice is rich!. also people say I am very talented for my age and the best they have ever seen!. I don't want to go on and say complements I have gotten and brag, just want to know if I should get an agent because I would like to pursue this!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Honestly, you need to do more!. Community theatre is a great start and more than most have done!. You now need some film and commercial credits!. Agents need to see more!. You also need to have training!. Make sure you're in a class for film and TV, improv, etc!.

Have your parents check out ActorsAccess!.com and Backstage!.com they can help you find student and indie films to get in on and they are the most legit sites around!. If you search for auditions and they have a lot for you in your area, consider getting a subscription to Showfax!. They provide sides (script pages) for auditions!. Even if they don't have them for your auditions, you can use them for practice!. Plus with that subscription you'd get to submit for auditions on AA for free for a year!.

Please make sure your parents are the ones who do this for you because you should not be the one putting information on the internet, they should monitor this!.

Once you get some training and build a good resume, then you can start thinking about submitting to agents!. http://www!.sag!.org/node/667
