Exepect to fill out a sheet that tells all about yourself!.And wait along time!.Then somebody will call your name and you will go into a room !.Pick up a piece of paper ad they will tell you what part to read!.And even though you've never seen that little piece of paper in your life,you have to act like it's every day life!.Then the people will tell you that if you make it they will call you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

well it depends on what show you are doing, how old you are, who the people you are auditioning for!.

1!.)the audition with either be closed or open!.!.
closed-just the directors watch your audition with no one else
in the room
open-directors, and all other auditioners (sorry for my spelling) watch too!.

2!.) singing
usualy you will be asked to sing a portion of a song from the musical

3!.)acting
you might be asked to read part of the skript
or you may also be asked to prepare a short monalog

DO NOT: get worked up over auditions
be very open and just have fun!

Prepare, but don't over prepare because they may ask you to read it different ways!. Go in familiar, with lines memorized (or close to), but don't have your character choices set in stone, because it will feel like someone pulled the rug from under you if you are asked to read it different!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It depends on the type of role!. If it's an acting role then you'll probably be asked to do a monologue or cold reading of the script!. They will ask about experience you've listed on your resume!. If the role involves singing they will ask you to prepare a minimum (usually) of sixteen bars of music!. Good Luck!. And remember dress professionally!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
