You know, I once heard from a prof that Shakespeare intended that to be a comedy, not a tragedy!. Like, "ha, look at those idiot teenagers!" and it turned into a tragedy!. But I've always raised my eyebrows at the two of them!.!.!. it's such an over-the-top response to kill yourself!.!.!. I get how someone could end up there, but it kind of pisses me off!. Well, with Romeo and Juliet you could almost say that their love was an obsession!. Firstly, their characters are about 13-14 years old!. That's how it worked back then!. They were incredibly hormonal teenagers!. It was a very extreme reaction to the whole thing!. Understandable angst and sadness at the news of the other's death, but still, extreme!.

So, if my wife died, I would definitely feel as though a giant part of me was dead as well, but I also know that my wife would want me to live and be happy!. I'm sure there would be a lot of times where I wouldn't want to go on without her, but because I know the type of person she is and the type of person that she loved me for being, I wouldn't be that person if I killed myself to "follow her"!. well you see romeo and juliet had a real passion for each so when one assumed the other was dead they felt that their life would be nothing with out that person!. i would also personally just cope with it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
