**** L!.A!.

You won't get anywhere with acting in Wisconsin!. I'm from Minnesota and I've already explored that option!. Audition for Juliard in NYC, it's a pretty slammin college!. There's tons and tons of colleges out here, that's why I moved from MN to NYC, I auditioned for a college and got accepted and started a new life, an actors life!. If you're already going to a college in Wisconsin and it's too late, then do your freshman year and then GET THE HELL OUT OF THE MIDWEST and transfer your credits to another university asap!.

The reason I said **** LA is because there's more possibilities for work in nyc!. If you wanna do theatre, do it in nyc, no la!. If you wanna do movies, don't try for it in LA!. Because of the economy, it costs $10,000 a day for filming in L!.A!.!.!.!. it's crazy cheap out here in nyc so you'll have more job opportunities for good resume building jobs!. L!.A!. is turning into a Reality Show NIGHTMARE for actors since it's much cheaper than studio space and it hot on the market right now!. And trust me, if you want a life long career in acting, don't ever do a reality show!. Reality shows are a phaze that will end about 2010 or 11!. SO COME TO NYC :D

If you're wondering, I went To American Musical Dramatic Academy!. Don't believe anything you here about it, they teach you the basic stanislavsky technique just like 75% of the other conservatories!. The nice thing about AMDA is they they have acting and dance audition workshops!. They dedicate a whole semester to TEACHING you how to audition, plus they teach you all about professionalism and agents so when you're out on your own, you're VERY business savvy about acting :) www!.amda!.edu

Anyway, I honestly want to say, don't go to amda or any other conservatory!. Go to a liberal arts college!. It is important for young actors to study things that will expand their knowledge and trigger their imaginations, so that they will grow as people and have something to bring to the roles they will eventually play!. After college there is plenty of time to go to a conservatory for graduate studies in acting or for professional training (Boston College IS AMAZING for this)

I wish all the best to you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm also going to be a freshman and I want to be an actress, but I live in Iowa, which is just as bad as Iowa, haha!.
Take acting classes, act in community theatre, basically work on your acting skills until college when you can move somewhere where you can actually get work!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Move To L!.A An Take Acting Classes As WellWww@QuestionHome@Com
