First off, look on websites like Craigslist! You will see casting calls or auditions available in the talent/acting section!. Many of the advertisers are big name national television stations and local ones too! I think the local ones might be easier to get into!. 2!. Many times you will see casting call bulletins on television stations that young people usually watch!. In America that would be the station with Smallville and Gilmore Girls!.!.!.teeny bopper shows!. Often, they will be looking for someone to host a show (especially new ones) or be the girl who announces things in between shows for that station!. When you see these bulletins, apply right away! These positions go fast! Not Free: 3!. Get an agent!. How!? Go to agencies like Barbizon, not sure what the Australian equivalent of that is!. These people will usually work very hard to find you work because it benefits them as well! I know this because my mother is one of these agents!. There are plenty of other ways as well, you just have to be persistant!Www@QuestionHome@Com My husband got a paid extras part on the recently aired VALENTINE'S DAY !.!.!.!. on the abc!. It was filmed a year ago and he was there all day on set on one of the coldest days of the year!.!.!. and he was on screen for a total of three seconds LOL !.!. infact we saw our car more than we saw him!. But how he got the part was I heard them calling for extra's on the ABC and contacted them and it just went from there!.!. but what I'd do if I were you is check the yellow pages for casting agents!.!.!. some specialise in getting extras for various films and television productions!. Give them a call and ask their advice and if they have any need for extras in the near future!.
