Question: What is like to audition professionally!?
What does the waiting room/audition room look like!? Generally how many people are in the room and what is their association with the project!? How many people are generally there!? I know it may vary depending on the audition but tell me a little bit about it because I'm planning on auditioning for a few things and I just wanted a basic background so I can be the slightest bit prepared! Please and Thank you!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Have a look for audition technique books!. They will cover the basics like how to prepare, what to say, etc!. It's irrelevant how many people are there with you, as one, you are only able to do the best YOU can do; and two, they may have been seeing people all day long, over several days!.

If you mean the actual audition itself, it depends on the project and how far in they are in casting!. Some it's just the casting director and camera operator (often the same person), and for others, producer/s and the director may be present as well!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You should know how to slate, walk in the room, what to say, and what you wear!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
