if anything, it takes a good deal of luck to succeed in acting!. try looking for small roles where you can get noticed!. it's a pretty slow process, but it sure beats doing nothing at all: hollywood-opportunities(dotcom)Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's not hard to become an actor or actress!. It's hard to become famous!. There's a difference!. People going after fame have to realize that everyone pays their dues on top of being in a cutthroat industry!. The catch is that to be in feature films with exposure and a great paycheck, you have to have experience+ representation(Agent) and to get experience means doing small bit roles, and extra work in independent films, theatre work, etc!. for free or small pay!. Sometimes that's hard to do when you have rent to pay or you live in a small town and have to travel to a big city to get work on your own dime!. To some actors it's worth it because that's what they really enjoy be it in a small theatre or small indy film ACTING no matter what the genre!. Some just want to be famous which is really hard to do but not impossible!. The other route is doing Reality T!.V!.(ad nauseam), but exposure is exposure which can lead to other things!. If you look on Craigslist!.org and mandy!.com you'll see the movie/tv/theatre roles available and ways to break into the industry!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

because in order to do it and stay with it for your career you have to have love for theatre and acting!. most people who do get involved want fame or money or just to inflate their own egos or because the girls from the hills do it!.!.!.!.the kind of instant gratification that we watch thru reality tv just perpetuates something that doesn't exists!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Acting is easy, make money out of it, will lead you to a nightmare of compromises that you may not want to go to as there are zillions of drama students, and just a few that make a living out of it!.
