Question: My goal is to own my own movie production company, whats the best way to achieve that goal!?

Im 26 and I am a xray tech now!.!.I also take acting classes now her in Orlando Fl!. I use xray as a fallback plan and i actullay am thinking about going back to school for nuclear medicine for a bigger fall back plan!. Hey! Well, first off, you need to go to film school!. Although people say that you don't need a degree to prosper in the field, having a solid film background boosts you ahead of the many others trying to make a future in the industry!.

Now, there are myriad film schools, but going to one in the elite tier can help you gain stronger connections, and come into the field with the best knowledge!. These schools include Tisch at NYU, UCLA's film school, USC's film school, Vassar's film program, etc!.

If you are looking at producing, then you can stick with a film major!. However, if you are looking at the financial aspects of it, and want to solely focus on managing a company, then you may want to double with business as well!.

A heads up!. This field is ridiculously competitive, and most struggle to build their way up to their "dream" positions!. So, with that in mind, you need to be ready to take risks!.

Above everything, just be uber creative!. Creativity is the essence of everything done in movies!. And, you've gotta be a good storyteller!. Stories= the foundation of it all!.
