No matter how enthused you -- OOPS, I mean SHE -- is about the production, my casting decision would be based on all the people who auditioned!.

However, you -- I mean SHE -- would earned my admiration for demonstrating a lot of initiative, which would only help foster a positive opinion!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I agree with everyone here!. It's good that you are devoted and you are good at memorizing and all that good stuff!. But, all of your talent and your devotion should be demonstrated in your audition!. You have to audition before being considered!. Sure, you may be the perfect person for the part, but until you show that in you try-out you are just dreaming!. So, before you think that she is not being fair, just think about it!. Good Luck!.

seems like a very good chance!.!.!.!.!.but it also depends on the other people auditioning!. it also depends on if the girl is writing this!.!.!.!.if so u should make sure the teacher knows of all your efforts!.I'd say if you show her some confidence you'll definately boost your chances on landing a roleWww@QuestionHome@Com

Pretty good, but it would depend on how well she fit the role, matched up with the others, and met the overall vision!.

I would probably be open to giving her a shot in a role!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I just graduated HS and I know how you feel!. HS theatre is so political and it can depend on who's been in shows longer, how old you are, who's the drama boosters president, etc!.

Nowadays no one has to look like the part they play, unless of course they are bro/sis/twins!. I'm chinese and I played the mother of a white girl!.

At my school there is a lot of HS politics going around!. Usually people who had never tried out for on stage parts, but have always worked backstage, have a higher chance of being in the production, but not necessarily a leading role!. At my school, the leading role is usually someone who has received leading roles in the past or is someone who is very familiar with on stage participation!.

In your case, I wouldn't set my heart out to get a certain part!. I would just focus on getting into the production!. also, see if you got called back for any lead roles!. Did you get called back for the role you wanted!? If not, don't set your heart out on this one part!.

Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
