Hey everyone, well I want to go to an audition for John Robert Powers!. I know that some people say it's a scam so please don't tell me that!. I just want to audition and see what happens!. Anyway, what should I do to be prepared!? Do I need headshots!? also, what do they make you do in the audition!?

They have you read something in front of a camera!. Please don't waste your time and energy and the gasoline it takes to get there!. It is not worth it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com You'll need a resume and possibly headshots!. You should see what their requirements are!. Probably prepare a song that shows off your voice!. Maybe a repotoireWww@QuestionHome@Com believe me i know what im talking about i auditioned for the same thing 2 years ago and i'm not going to say it's a scam but it's mostly to get your money to learn how to act fom them and there is ABSOULUTLY NO GAURANTEE THAT YOU'LL BE ON TV OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT anyway im not trying to bring you down or anything im just gonna go ahead and tell you what happens you come and then they call your name and some other names to go on an elevator (trust me it's going to be crowded) and then you take a seat and you wait for a person to go on stage and tell you somethings and then she gives out these scripts and depending on your age you learn 1 out of 3 comercials then when they call your name you stand in line to go into this room and theres going to be a camera man and he's gonna say that when he says birdy or something i dont remember exactly and you have to say your name your age and your state and say your words then you leave and then you go to a different bigger room and you wait till your called into an office and they start asking you questions about your experience and if your parents are gonna stick with you through the whole thing then when your finished you go home and they call you in a few days telling you if your in or not if they say that you are then they are gonna ask you to come back some other day and they give you this paper and catalog on prices and thats where the parents come in and as i said before its money for classes and as i also said before that there is no gaurantee you'll be on tv and thats pretty much what goes on on those auditions have fun!!!! =)Www@QuestionHome@Com |
