THAT WAS AMAZING!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I only listened to the first 10 seconds or so of each, but the nat'l anthem sounded better to me!.
One thing to work on- try not to put H's in between or before vowels "H-amazing grace!.!.!." "Tha-Hat saved!.!.!."
choirs usually get on you for stuff like that!.
Amazing Grace was starting to go flat at the beginning, so think UP (raise your eyebrows while you sing, it makes your face interesting to look at AND helps keep pitch up)!.

but all that aside I think you have a lovely quality to your voice!. The Nat'l Anthem is notoriously hard to sing, deceptively so; I would go with that one!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Are you going to be singing a cappella!?

In the SSB, you completely changed the key of the song in the middle!. (Since you started so high, I was wondering how you were going to hit the highest note!.) also, there's so many melismas (note decorations) that it takes away from the simple power of the song!.

And your intonation is all over the place in Amazing Grace!. If you're going to be doing it with accompaniment, I think this one would be best!. You have a nice, direct tone!.

However, if you aren't going to have accompaniment, I'd try the SSB; just start it *much* lower and just sing it straight!.

For choir they're looking for someone who can blend, so they need to hear your "undecorated" voice!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
